Title:
EXPANDED BAND ANTENNA FOR WRIST WATCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01279603
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce electric noise and also to facilitate attachment and detachment around a wrist by permitting the length of a wire embedded in a flexible textile strap material to be larger than strap length and permit it to be foldable back and forth and a rear across the width of a strap. CONSTITUTION: The wires which are intervenient between piles 5 and 6 is the continuous multiply twisted antenna wires 7. The length of a wire material 7 is longer than the non-extended strap material, and it is folded back and forth across the width of the strap material plies 5 and 6 cross-sectionally and formed in a meandering, sinusoidal or zigzag shape. As a result, its band can pass through the hand of the person wearing without damaging the wires. Further, electrostatic capacitance is made to be large in the twisting of the antenna wires, and external electrostatic capacitance required for synchronizing the antenna is reduced. A resonance capacitor 10 is soldered to a conductor inside the strap, so that contact resistance is reduced and performance is improved.
