Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block the corrosion by the current owing to the generation of a potential difference, by insulating between a bronze valve and a stainless steel pipe of a water supply equipment.
SOLUTION: This pipe coupling consists of a hollow coupling main body 110 whose one end is connected to a saddle snap tap; a box nut 114 screwed in to the other end of the coupling main body 110; and pipe drawing preventive means 117 and 118 set in a circular recess 116 between the tapered inner peripheral surface 114a of the box nut 114, and the outer peripheral surface of a stainless steel pipe 5. While the coupling main body 110 is injection molded by a synthetic resin material, the box nut 114 is also injection molded by a synthetic resin material, and in this case, the coupling main body is injection molded integral with the box nut main body by setting a head-cut conical core 120 made of a stainless steel, on the tapered inner peripheral surface of the box nut 114.
