Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion handrail composed of a rotatably pivoted handrail unit and an intermediate unit slidably connected to left-right handrail units, and constituted in the handrail unit and the intermediate unit so as to respectively form a vertical lattice shape, in the expansion handrail provided on both sides of a passage for connecting mutual buildings.SOLUTION: A handrail unit 4 forms a vertical lattice shape, and upper-lower horizontal rods 9a and 9b form a rail shape of opening an opposed surface, and a vertical rod 10 is fixed to the horizontal rods 9a and 9b on the upper-lower ends. An intermediate unit 6 also forms the vertical lattice shape, and both a horizontal rod 12a and a horizontal rod 12b are slidably inserted into the horizontal rods 9a and 9b, and the vertical rod 13 is fixed at a specific interval in the longitudinal direction to the vertical rod 10, and the upper end is fixed to the horizontal rod 12a via an opening of the horizontal rod 9a, and the lower end is fixed to the horizontal rod 12b via an opening of the horizontal rod 9b, and when the intermediate unit 6 moves in the lateral direction, mutual vertical rods 10 and 13 are constituted so as not to mutually interfere.
