To remove the defect of a mounting bracket for a bicycle lock, namely, it is easy to rust and inferior in appearance to other parts such as a lock or a bicycle body.
The mounting bracket l is covered with a resin cover which is serially and integrally molded with an upper end 8 formed along the inside of a forked rising part of a mounting portion 2, one bent portion 9 formed along the outside of one curved portion 3, a suspended portion 10 suspended at the lower edge of the bent portion and formed along the outside of one fastened portion 4, the other suspended portion 10 continuously extending from the lower edge of the suspended portion and formed along the outside of the other fastened portion 3, the other bent portion 10 continuously extending from the upper part of the suspended portion and formed along the outside of the other curved portion 3, and an engaging portion 11 extending from the upper part of the bent portion to both sides, engaging a self-locking pawl provided at the end of the upper end and having a latch pawl 11' at a front edge bent backward along the outside edge of the mounting portion for engaging the inside edge of the mounting portion. The thin sheet metal mounting bracket is hard to rust and decorative.
