PURPOSE: To make facsimile equipment perform schedule management by previously registering the name of a document to be sent, an address number, a scheduled date of transmission, etc., in the equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A scanner part 11, a facsimile part 14, a printing part 15, and an MMI part 17 are nearly the same as those that an ordinary facsimile equipment has. A code conversion part 12 expands image data, inputted from the scanner part 11 or facsimile part 14, on the image memory and the document name, address number, transmission schedule, etc., of the data are converted into codes that can be handled in a system. Therefore, the data can be registered in a schedule registration part 13 only with registration information written in a dedicated data sheet and by the reception of a document request from an opposite party. When a document is not sent according to the registered schedule, a destination is informed that the transmission of the document is delayed and a report showing that the transmission scheduled day comes is outputted to this machine, thus performing the transmission schedule management.
