Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize existent facsimile equipment by providing a facsimile information managing device for storing and managing facsimile information between a communication line and the existent facsimile equipment. SOLUTION: A facsimile information managing device 1 is provided between a public line network and the existent facsimile equipment. A line communication part 11 receives facsimile information from the public line network, and the received facsimile information is stored in an information storage part 13. Managing information such as telephone number for the transmission source of this facsimile information or the date and time of reception is preserved in a managing information storage part 14. Then, one part of facsimile information or the managing information is displayed on a display part 15. The output or abandonment of information to the facsimile equipment is selected by the operating button of an operation part 16, if needed. A facsimile communication part 12 is connected to the facsimile equipment and performs transmission and reception of the facsimile communication information.
