PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile reception recording paper classifying device capable of classifying recording paper without using complicated configuration especially and classifying the paper clearly against more or less handling after paper discharge.

CONSTITUTION: A partition paper discharging means 12 is controlled by a partition paper discharge control section 11 in response to the output of an initial page recognizing means 2 in a reception control section 1 based on the facsimile reception operation to discharge special paper different from the paper size and color from those of the recording paper just before the head page of the recording paper.
