Abstract:
To provide a band allocation method using a single buffer to be easily mounted while fairly allocating bands.
In the method of housing all the packets of a plurality of flows in one queue buffer in the order of arrivals and multiplexing the traffic of the plurality of flows outputted in the order from the leading packet of the queue buffer, in the case of abandoning the packets in a congestion state, the packet to be abandoned is selected so that the number of the packets for each flow inside the queue buffer is proportional to the band allocated beforehand to the flow, and the packet is abandoned.
