Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide discharge air of approximately uniform distribution by juxtaposing an intake side wall plate having an intake port and a discharge side wall plate having an annular discharge port in the center of a fan case, forming a circumferential wall plate having a diameter larger from the intake side wall plate toward the discharge side wall plate, and setting an outer diameter of a rotating laminar flow fan main body gradually small from the intake side wall plate toward the discharge side wall plate.
CONSTITUTION: Air, which us sucked from an intake port 13 formed in the center of an intake side wall plate 12-1 by rotation of a rotating laminar flow fan main body 11, is discharged in the radial direction by centrifugal force. The discharged air is guided by a tapered circumferential wall plate 18, to be blown out from an annular discharge port 16 of a discharge side wall plate 12-2 juxtaposed with the intake side wall plate 12-1. The outer peripheral surface of the rotating laminar flow fan main body 11 is formed in such a manner that an outer diameter gradually becomes smaller from the intake port 13 toward the discharge port 16. Accordingly, relatively strong air discharging force is generated on the intake side in the axial direction while relatively weak air discharging force is produced on the discharge side. Since the circumferential wall plate 18 for guiding the discharged air is gradually increased in diameter toward the discharge port 16, air blowing-out distribution along the radial direction of the discharge port 16 becomes approximately uniform.
