To provide a pad-like or sheet-like fare-infrared ray irradiator capable of providing an effect of hyperthermia with far-infrared rays and the mental stabilization with negative ions at the same time.
The sheet-shaped or pad-shaped far-infrared ray irradiator has an aluminum foil surface 200 disposed on the rear surface of a foaming urethane base material 300 on which a far-infrared ray irradiation layer is formed. 95-99 wt.% of magnetized far-infrared ray generating lightning stone powder and 5-1 wt.% of verculite powder are mixed in the far-infrared ray irradiation layer. The front surface of the foaming urethane base material 300 and the rear surface of the aluminum foil are held by holder bodies 100a and 100b, and attachments to a human body such as hook and loop fasteners are attached to appropriate positions of the holder bodies, if necessary.
