Abstract:
To provide a fastener to be used for fixing a modular jack 10 such as an RJ 11 used for a telephone cable and an RJ 45 used for a LAN cable when a locking arm of the modular jack 10 is broken and the modular jack 10 becomes unable to be fixed to a modular plug 12.
When the modular jack 10 with a broken locking arm 7 is inserted into the modular plug 12, by inserting the fastener into the space from which the locking arm 7 is removed, the fastener shows the same effect as before the locking arm 7 is broken, and the modular jack 10 with the broken locking arm 7 can be fixed to the modular plug 12.
