Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent over-tightening of a screw member beyond a set value and make its removal easy by providing a torque transmitting member between a screw member and an operating ring, and also providing an one-side torque limitter which cuts off the torque transmission in the case of a specified load.
CONSTITUTION: In order to attach a rotary tool 20 to a drive shaft 17, a flange ring 15 side of a fastening screw 10 is faced to a tool 20 side, and a screw member 13 of the screw 10 is faced to a tool 20 side, and a screw member 13 of the screw 10 is fitted to a mounting bolt 18, and then an operating ring 11 is turned by hands for screw fitting. If the ring 15 does not touch the tool 20 during screwing, the screw 10 rotates integrally. When the ring 15 abuts on the tool 20, only a revolution of a revolving ring 12 is allowed because its rotation is prevented by the engagement with the flange ring 15, and the tool 20 can be fastened by large fastening force because of the difference between the number of the teeth of the external gear of the revolving ring 12 and the internal gear of the screw member 13. When the fastening force reaches the set value, a sliding member 14 rotates freely, and the transmission of the torque is interrupted. In the case of loosening the fastening screw 10, the turning of the operating ring 11 in the loosening direction makes the revolving ring 12 move into a revolving motion and the fastening can be loosened.
