Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure supporting rigidity of an intake manifold of a V-type engine by fixing and connecting the downstream end of an intake manifold to one bank through a bolt, and fastening the downstream end of the intake manifold with the other bank through an elastic body so as to be relatively displaceable.
SOLUTION: A lower manifold 20 is fixedly fastened with the cylinder head 3 of a right bank positioned downward an intake manifold 6 through a bolt 40 by a rigid fastening part. A lower manifold 20 is fastened with the cylinder head 2 of a left bank through an elastic rubber washer 35 by a floating connecting part freely to be relative displacement by a stopper bolt 30. It is thus possible to improve supporting rigidity of the intake manifold 6 of a V-type engine.
