To find breakage of a fastening part of a differential case and a ring gear at an early date.
The ring gear 4 is pressedly fitted in an outer peripheral surface 21 of a flange 3 of the difference case 2 in a press fitting surface 12 of the same and is caulked by a caulking part 22 arranged one end of the flange 3 in an axial direction. The other end surface 14 of the ring gear 4 is pushed to a stopper part 23 arranged in the other end of the flange 3. Between the outer peripheral surface 21 of the flange 3 and the press fitting surface 12 the ring gear 4, a sound generator 31 generating abnormal noise using slip when the slip is generated in the part is arranged. The sound generator 31 includes the peripheral groove 15 arranged in the press fitting surface 12 of the ring gear 4, a hole 24 arranged in the outer peripheral surface 21 of the flange 3, a contact piece 33 having a curved surface and housed in the hole 24 via a spring 32, and an unevenness 16 continuously formed in the peripheral groove 15 and capable of contacting the curved surface of the contact piece 33.
