To provide a fastening torque control system for controlling fastening torque of a nut, wherein the system can positively detect working errors and is low in cost.
The fastening torque control system 1 is formed of: a fastening torque detecting nut 3 installed in a vehicle 2 traveling through an inspection course; a torque value reading device 4 for communicating with the fastening torque detecting nut 3 and reading a torque value; a vehicle body location reading device 5 for reading the location of the vehicle 2 traveling through the inspection course; and a control device 6 for recording therein data read by the torque value reading device 4 and the vehicle body location reading device 5, as control data. Herein the fastening torque detecting nut 3 functions to convert a distortion amount caused at the nut itself by fastening torque from outside, into a torque value, and to communicate with the control device 6 which then stores therein the torque value as the control data.
