Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-Cr-Si alloy having excellent workability at the time of production and good magnetic properties and moreover combining corrosion resistance and inexpensiveness.
SOLUTION: This alloy has a compsn. contg., by weight, 1.5 to 20% Cr and 2.5 to 10% Si, in which the total content of C and N is reduced to ≤100 ppm, moreover contg. one or two kinds selected from Sn, Sb, Ni, Cu, Mo, W, La, V, Nb, Ti, Y, Zr, B and Co, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities and has ≥60 μΩcm specific resistance, and/or, one or more kinds selected from Mn, P and Al may be incorporated respectively by ≤1%.
