Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of efficiency and erroneous operation by designating second feed quantity wherein third feed quantity is subtracted from first feed quantity when a medium is not detected by a sensor when fed by the third feed quantity before the change of the sensor is detected.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor monitor part 45 detects that the change of a sensor 42 detecting a medium 41, for example, the ON/OFF state thereof fluctuates along with time to emit first information. A feed mechanism 43 starts the feed of a medium by the first command outputted from a feed control part 44 and emits second information at a point time when the medium is fed by third feed quantity. Further, when a second command is received from the feed control part 44, the medium 41 is fed by the second feed quantity designated by the second command from this point of time. The feed control part 44 inspects the state of the sensor 42 when it receives the second information before the first information and designates second feed quantity wherein the second feed quantity is subtracted from the first feed quantity when the medium 41 is not detected to emit a second command.
