Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing performance, productivity and accuracy of a cam by fixing a reinforcing plate nearly similar to a cam plate and having a smaller diameter than that of the cam plate to both faces of the thin cam plate with a prescribed shape respectively. CONSTITUTION:It is required to form the cam 53 for the shape with high accuracy to attain highly accurate feed drive. In order to form a cam plate 153 specifying the shape of the cam 53 into a thin plate, the plate is manufactured with high accuracy by discharge processing, laser processing or etching processing. Then the reinforcing plates 154, 155 having a slightly smaller diameter than that of the cam plate 163 and formed nearly similarly clip the cam plate 153 from both the faces. Thus, although the circumferential ridge of the cam plate 153 pressed into contact onto a cam follower 45 is provided with sufficient rigidity to attain a prescribed feeding drive while being pressed into contact with the cam follower 45 regardless of the thin plate. Thus, the productivity and accuracy are improved in this way.
