PURPOSE: To feed with good accuracy and continuously a side packing by feeding a pressure-sensitive tape coil with its side positioned upward below a punching stamp, punching out the part of the side packing formed with perforations of the continuous sheet by the punching stamp and pressing the punched side packing on the side of the pressure-sensitive tape coil.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure-sensitive tape coil 5 is fed with its side positioned upward below a vertically movable punching stamp 7 and a continuous sheet 1 on which perforations with a dimension and a shape of a side packing 1a are formed is passed through between the punching stamp 7 and the coil 5. When the part of the side packing 1a formed with the perforations 11 comes near the central position of the punching stamp 7, the punching stamp 7 is lowered to tear and punch out the part of the side packing 1a from the perforations 11 and the side packing 1a is pressed on the side of the coil 5 by the pressure of the punching stamp 7.
