Abstract:

To provide a ferrite core capable of suppressing sufficiently a rise of a core temperature even in an environment excited continuously, and to provide a transformer including the same, and a power source.

A ferrite core includes at least Fe, Mn, Zn and Ca. When the Ca content (in terms of CaO) in a ferrite core surface part is represented by x(o) [mass%] and the Ca content (in terms of CaO) inside the ferrite core is represented by x(i) [mass%], {x(o)-x(i)} is in the range shown by 0.001≤{x(o)-x(i)}≤0.01.
