Abstract:
To provide a ferrite sintered magnet having a satisfactorily high coercive force.SOLUTION: A ferrite sintered magnet 10 comprises: a main phase made of ferrite and having a magnetoplumbite type crystal structure of hexagonal crystal; a first subphase containing La, Ca and Fe and having a higher La atomic ratio than that in the main phase, in which the La atomic ratio is higher than a Ca atomic ratio; and a second subphase containing La, Ca, Si, B and Fe, in which a Ca atomic ratio is higher than a La atomic ratio, a B atomic ratio is higher than an Fe atomic ratio, and the Fe atomic ratio is lower than that in the main phase. In a section of the ferrite sintered magnet 10,the second subphase accounts for an areal rate of 1% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
