Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a valve diagnosis apparatus capable of being combined with an existing valve and of automatically diagnosing corrosion, a valve apparatus using this valve diagnosis apparatus, and a valve diagnosis method. A valve diagnosis apparatus (300) of the present disclosure includes an ultrasonic transmitter (104) that transmits ultrasound (US) towards a valve element (10) that opens and closes a valve (100) to be diagnosed, an ultrasonic receiver (108) that receives the ultrasound (US) transmitted from the ultrasonic transmitter (104), a controller (102) that drives the ultrasonic transmitter (104) and processes a reception signal received by the ultrasonic receiver (108), and a memory (112) that stores the reception signal. The controller (102) detects corrosion of the valve element (10) from the difference in intensity of the reception signal in the initial state of the valve (100) and at the time of diagnosis.
