Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten working hours and to improve working efficiency by making the inserting operation of a balloon catheter into once although the picking work of a fertilized egg using the balloon catheter into the uterus requires long time. SOLUTION: Concerning this method, at the time of picking the fertilized egg of an animal, a balloon catheter 1 composed of semihard materials is used and when mounting the balloon catheter into the uterus, an outer cylinder 2 extrapolated into the balloon catheter is mounted into the uterus so that the uterine corners can be washed by guiding the balloon catheter to the deep parts of the uterine corners without using any inner core inside the balloon catheter 1. Concerning this picker, a top end part 1b of the catheter 1 is equipped with a stopper composed of a projection larger than the inner diameter of the hard outer cylinder, a collection hole 1e or an injection hole 1d for circulation fluids into the uterus is arranged at the top end section of the balloon catheter and the injection hole or collection hole is arranged at a section near a balloon part 1a of the balloon catheter respectively. Then, the diameter of the spherical top end part is made larger than the aperture part of the outer cylinder.
