To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material constantly keeping high transparency independently of temperature conditions, wavelength, or the like, and imparted with various functions by the composition of a fiber and a matrix material.
The fiber-reinforced composite material is composed of a fiber aggregate and the matrix material impregnated in the fiber aggregate. The total length of line segments of L≥4.5 μm is ≤30% of total analyzed length wherein L is the length of a line segment of a highlight region corresponding to a vacant region of the fiber aggregate obtained by the statistical analysis of a one-direction run length image prepared from a binary image obtained by binarizing a scanning electron microscope image of the fiber aggregate. The composite material is produced by impregnating the matrix material in the fiber aggregate composed of a three-dimensional crosslinked structure having a fine and dense network of nano-size fine fibers having ≥4.5μ m RL ratio of ≤30%.
