To obtain the subject composition having excellent impact resistance, warpage transformation electromagnetic wave shielding properties and combusti bility of thin wall part by adding a specific carbon fiber to a resin composition consisting of a polycarbonate resin and a liquid crystalline resin.
This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition (i) 99.5-70 wt.% of a polycarbonate resin (e.g. an aromatic homo- or copolycarbonate having 0.2-3.0 dl/g logarithmic viscosity measured in 1.0 g/dl concentration in methylene chloride at 20°C) and (ii) 0.5-30 pts.wt. of a crystalline resin [e.g. a liquid crystalline polyester composed of structural units of formulas I, II, and III (R1 is a group of formula IV or the like; R2 is a group of formula V or the like), a liquid crystalline polyester amide or a and liquid crystalline polycarbonate] and (B) 5-300 pts.wt. of a carbon fiber (e.g. PAN-based or a pitch-based carbon fiber) composed of ≥60 wt.% of carbon fiber having 0.15-6 mm fiber length.
