Abstract:
To provide a fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composition which excels in pellet stain-resistant properties and mold stain-resistant properties in molding, and simultaneously excels in compatibilizing properties with other thermoplastic resins.
The fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by subjecting fiber rovings to extrusion coating with the use of an ABS resin produced by the solution polymerization method or the bulk polymerization method to form strands, and then pelletizing the strands. It is preferred that the fiber rovings are previously impregnated with a thermoplastic resin emulsion, bonded thereto, and dried before use.
