Abstract:
To provide a woven glass fiber for a bag filter, which is excellent in acid resistance and heat resistance and whose tensile strength and folding resistance are hardly deteriorated even under a high temperature and acid environment.
The woven glass fiber 1 for the bag filter includes the woven glass fiber 10 composed of acid resistant glass, and a resin coating layer 15 for coating the woven glass fiber 10. When the total mass of the acid resistant glass is defined as 100 mass%, the acid resistant glass contains SiO2for 55-60 mass%, Al2O3for 10-14 mass%, (CaO+MgO) for 20-28 mass%, B2O3for 1 mass% or less and R2O (R is Na or K) for 1 mass% or less. The resin coating layer 15 is formed by a coating process with a resin composition containing PTFE, graphite and a silicone resin. The woven glass fiber 10 composed of the acid resistant glass contributes to the acid resistance, and the resin coating layer 15 containing the silicone resin contributes to the heat resistance.
