To provide a compactified field crop harvester improved in operability and simplified in constitution of a transferring part and a recovering part by constituting the longitudinal length of the machine body to be short.
There is provided a field crop harvester providing a running device 2, a harvesting part 4 at one of the right or left side of the machine body which harvesting part 4 harvests the field crops, an operating part 3 and a recovering part 6 at the other right or left side of the machine body which operating part 3 is for operating the machine body and which recovering part 6 is for setting a receiver bag B receiving the harvested crops, a remaining leaf treating part 5 for removing useless foliage part remaining on the harvested crops, and a transferring part 7 set in the direction from the one of the right or left side of the machine body to the other right or left side which transferring part 7 receives the crops from the remaining leave treating part 5 and transfers to the recovering part 6, wherein a shaft 43 is provided near the right side of the remaining leaf treating part 5, the transfer terminal side of the transferring part 7 is vertically rotatably provided around the shaft 43, a lifting drive 44 for lifting and lowering the transfer terminal side of the transferring part 7 is provided, and a receiver bag opening part holding means 40 spreading and supporting the upper side opening of the receiver bag B set at the recovering part 6 is formed to vertically move corresponding to the vertical movement of the transfer terminal side of the transferring part 7.
