Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water-absorbing and air-permeable film for packing food preventing the propagation of bacteria bonded to the moisture exuding from packed fish or meat and suppressing the putrefaction of fish or meat to enable the long-term preservation thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A film member having water absorbability and air permeability is formed by integrally superposing a coating film on a base film 1. The base film 1 is formed of a water-absorbing/air-permeable member. A large number of vent holes 3 are bored in the entire surface of the coating film 2. The moisture exuding from fish or meat is evaporated to the outside from the vent holes and the excessive moisture remaining in the film is absorbed.
