Abstract:
To provide a filling device and a filling method excellent in workability and filling efficiency when filling with an inert gas.SOLUTION: A filling device 1 comprises a cylindrical part 10 which can discharge a material-to-be-filled into a container and has a valve seat 20 at its discharge end, a valve element 30 which advances/retreats in a hollow part 14 of the cylindrical part 10, and a jig 40 assembled on an outer periphery of the valve seat 20. The filling device is formed so that the material-to-be-filled cannot be discharged in a valve-closed state where the valve element 30 is seated on the valve seat 20 and can be discharged in a valve-opened state where the valve element 30 is separated from the valve seat 20, and so that a gas can be ejected into the container synchronously with the discharge of the material-to-be-filled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
