To provide a filling nozzle for an automatic packaging machine with the cooling function in which the cooling effect is demonstrated so that a packaging film is not melted to be fused onto the filling nozzle when the packaging operation is stopped, and the packaging operation can be smoothly started at the re-start.

An outer side of a filling nozzle 8 to supply a filling material is covered with a cooling pipe 11 to form a double pipe structure, and a refrigerant is fed in an interval passage 11X between the nozzle 8 and the pipe 11 to cool the filling nozzle 8 and a packaging film F therearound.
