PURPOSE: To inhibit roll film from being carried in the case a roll film carrier is deviated from a specified position where a transparent plate is held in a closed state and the transparent plate is pressed and is not firmly closed.

CONSTITUTION: The roll carrier 8 is provided with a carrying means automatically carrying the roll film, a pair of glasses G1 and G2 holding the roll film and capable of being opened/closed, a projection lens 21 holding a pair of transparent plates in the closed state in the case the roll carrier 8 is at the specified position, and a reflection type sensor 2 (detecting means) detecting the position of the roll carrier 8. In the case the sensor 2 detects that the roll carrier 8 is deviated from the specified position where the glass G1 is held in the closed state, automatic carrying operation by the carrying means is inhibited.
