Abstract:
To provide a film catalyst unit for oxidation-reduction reaction using a novel electron/ion mixed conductive film or the like, and a method for manufacturing a compound using the same, especially a method for manufacturing hydrogen peroxide in a highly efficient and economical manner.
The film catalyst unit 7 is constituted by laminating an oxidation catalyst film on one surface of the electron/ion mixed conductive film or the like and laminating a reduction catalyst film on the other surface of the electron/ion mixed conductive film or the like and is characterized by partially opening the catalyst films. An aqueous solution 13 of pure hydrogen peroxide can be manufactured from oxygen by the film catalyst unit.
