The film feeder comprises the band film drawing member 12 having an engagement portion 12a engageable with a film F1 at the end for guiding the film, drawn out of a cartridge PT by winding on a film winding spool, to the winding spool with the end to be pulled back near a cartridge chamber 1 by rewinding the film F1, and a guide member 13 for cancelling the engagement of the engagement portion 12a with the film F1 and escaping the engagement portion 12a from a film feeding passage as the end of the film drawing member 12 arrives near the cartridge chamber 1 with the rewinding of the film, the engagement portion 12a being inserted into the film feeding passage for engaging the film F1 as the film drawing member 12 is wound.
