Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a film feeding device for a camera which automatically changes the position of a film leader part and winds the film round a take-up spool again when the film can not be taken up.
CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a feeding spool for feeding the film by rotation in one direction and rewinding it by rotation in the other direction, which is provided in a film magazine 70, the take-up spool 57 for taking up the film fed from the magazine 70, and a film feeding detection means 69 for detecting the feeding state of the film; and the film is fed by a specified amount from the magazine 70 when the means 69 does not detect the feeding of the film at the time of performing the take-up action of the take-up spool.
