Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain good fixing performance without causing repelling property of a tube on a primer layer by incorporating a flaky or platelike filler into the primer layer.
SOLUTION: The film for a fixing member consists of a heat-resistant resin layer 1, a conductive primer layer 2 on the layer 1, and a releasing resin layer 3 of a tube essentially comprising a fluorocarbon resin on the conductive primer layer 2. As for the conductive primer to form the conductive primer layer 2, a primer prepared by dissolving or dispersing the mixture or a resin which constitutes the heat-resistant resin layer 1 and a resin which constitutes the releasing resin layer 3, and a conductive filler and a flaky or platelike filler in a solvent is used. The flake-like or planer filler prevents water repelling property of a tube coating which constitutes the releasing resin layer 3. The compounding amt. of the filler is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 10 wt.% based on the primer of the base.
