Patent Searching and Data

Title:
FILM MANUALLY WINDING TYPE CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3579625
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film manually winding type camera capable of detecting whether or not film exists just like using software without dedicatedly providing a mechanical film existence detecting switch by counting the number of generated pulses and judging whether or not the film exists.
SOLUTION: Until a winding lever 2 is operated twice to reach an operation stop position after a back cover 6 is closed, the pulses generated by the winding operation performed until the lever 2 reaches the operation stop position first after the cover 6 is closed are neglected. The number of the pulses generated by the winding operation performed until the lever 2 reaches the operation stop position at the second time thereafter is counted to discriminate whether or not the film exists. When the pulses are counted by the number of program searching pulses by winding the lever 2, a spool is locked and the position of the film is fixed. Thus, whether or not the film exists is detected without dedicatedly providing the mechanical film existence detecting switch.
