Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film type gas meter with which it is possible to prevent trouble due to the degradation of a polymer material film.SOLUTION: Provided is a film type gas meter comprising, all provided in a housing: a weighing chamber where a gas is weighed; a gas introduction path for introducing a gas into the weighting chamber; a gas discharge path for discharging a gas from the weighing chamber; a valve unit for controlling introduction of a gas from the gas introduction path into the weighing chamber and discharge of a gas from the weighing chamber to the gas discharge path; a cutoff valve capable of cutting off the circulation of a gas in the gas introduction path; a film unit for reciprocating by supply of a gas to the weighing chamber and discharge of a gas from the weighing chamber; a link mechanism for opening/closing the valve unit by reciprocating movement of the film unit; and a control unit, the film unit being constituted using a polymer material film having a glass transition temperature. Also included is an electrical characteristic measurement unit for measuring the electrical characteristic of the polymer material film. The control unit performs opening/closing adjustment processing to adjust the open/closed states of the cutoff valve in accordance with the value of the electrical characteristic of the polymer material film measured by the electrical characteristic measurement unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
