Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detection element and a magnetic impedance sensor which are improved in hysteresis characteristics in comparison to the prior art.SOLUTION: A magnetic detection element 2 comprises a magneto-sensitive unit 21, and coils 25, 26. The magneto-sensitive unit 21 is a wire-shaped member that changes its electromagnetic characteristics according to an external magnetic field. The magneto-sensitive unit 21 includes: a center part with a crystal structure; and a front surface layer part containing amorphous alloy and formed on the periphery of the center part. The coils 25, 26 detect an inductive electromotive voltage corresponding to the external magnetic field acting on the magneto-sensitive unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
