Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove foreign matter for a long period by restraining the effect given to the flow of molten metal caused by the clogging of a filter to the lowest limit.
SOLUTION: This filter 20 for casting device is connected with a furnace for incorporating the molten metal and a mold for pouring the molten metal through an introducing tube for forming a flowing passage of the molten metal, and fitted to the inner side of the introducing tube in the casting device for pouring the molten metal into the inner part of the mold through the introducing tube with the different pressure between the pressure in the inner part of the furnace and the pressure in the inner part of the mold, and then, constituted so as to remove impurities from the molten metal flowed into the mold. In such a case, an opening hole 20a is arranged at the center part to remove the impurities at the surrounding part of the opening hole 20a.
