To provide a filter device which can secure effectively a sealing between a filter case and a filter element and, at the same time, has a decreased number of parts.

An annular sealing member 16 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the filter element and an annular sealing surface 23 allowing the sealing member 16 to abut over the all circumferences is provided on the inner peripheral side of the filter case. At the same time, an abutting part 24 abutted to the outer peripheral edge of the introduction port side end face in the filter element 14 is provided on the inner side of the filter case 11, and the abutting state of the sealing member 16 and the sealing surface 23 is to be kept by the abutting part 24 in a state that air flow of an engine is not formed.
