Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device that is easy to be introduced into a blood vessel, and has reduced possibility of damaging the inner wall of the blood vessel.SOLUTION: A filter device 10 comprises: a shaft 12; a distal end tip 16 provided at the distal end portion of the shaft 12; a filter 15 provided on the shaft 12, and elastically deformable from an expanded posture to a contracted posture; and a catheter 11 through which the shaft 12 is inserted into the internal space, and which can accommodate the filter 15 in a contracted posture in the internal space. A cover tube 33 is laminated on the distal end portion of the catheter 11 outside an inner tube 32, and the cover tube 33 protrudes in an axial direction 101 from the distal end of the inner tube 32. A proximal end portion 42 of the distal end tip 16 can be accommodated in the internal space of the cover tube 33 projecting from the distal end of the inner tube 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
