Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press apparatus and a solid-liquid separation method for slurry which are capable of producing solid-liquid separation performance for a long term without complicating the structure.SOLUTION: A filter press apparatus of the present invention includes a plurality of filter plates 1, a filter cloth 3, a slurry pump 5, and the like. A jet scraper 29 is movably disposed along the height direction of a filter cloth 3 between the adjacent pair of filter plates 1. The jet scraper 29 is capable of discharging air and water each having a predetermined pressure to between the filter cloth 3 and a cake C to be generated in a filter chamber 2.
