Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press device and a solid-liquid separation method of slurry capable of providing effective solid-liquid separation.SOLUTION: A filter press device uses a first pressing filter plate 1a located on one side of a lamination direction for a filter cloth 3 and a second pressing filter plate 1b located on the other side of the lamination direction for the filter cloth 3. The first, second pressing filter plates 1a, 1b include a filter plate main body 11 formed of pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c, pressing films 13a, 13b which tightly close the pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c together with the filter plate main body 11 and can be displaced in the lamination direction in accordance with pressures of the pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c and a pressure controlling port 15 which is communicated with the pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c and can introduce pressing air into the pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c. The filter press device further is provided with an air-pump 7 or the like which can introduce pressing air into the pressure controlling chambers 11b, 11c with a predetermined pressure.
