Abstract:
To provide a compact pressure tank built-in type filter press which uses a cavity part formed in a filter plate of a filter press as a pressure tank, whereby a pressure tank is not required.SOLUTION: A filter press press-fits a stock solution into a filtration chamber 7 formed between many filter plates 4, that are arranged side by side, and dehydrates the same, and thereafter, supplies a pressure fluid to a diaphragm chamber 29 formed in the filter plate 4 with a diaphragm 30 stretched, and squeezes and dehydrates a dewatering cake generated in the filtration chamber 7. The filter press has a cavity part 20 that is formed in the filter plate 4 and can accumulate the pressure fluid, a pressure fluid supply pipe for supplying the pressure fluid into the cavity part 20, and a communication part that communicates the cavity part 20 and the diaphragm chamber 29 with each other, and therefore, can hold a large amount of compressed air in the cavity part 20 in the filter plate 4, and does not require to install an external pressure tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
