Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the nice appearance when a filter is mounted at a ventilation fan by arranging a rubber band in the parts passing the notched parts at the corners of the cloth of non-woven fabrics made from synthetic resins, bending the cloth on outer side to the inner side to include the rubber band and thermally fusing the superposed parts of the cloth.
SOLUTION: The filter 1 is composed of the cloth 2 which is shaped to the size to cover the entire part of the front surface of a housing 5 and consists of the non-woven fabrics and the rubber circles 3 which are integrally fused around the outer peripheral edges thereof. The cloth 2 is formed to a almost square shape and the four corner parts thereof are cut away to a triangular shape as notches 2a. The rubber circle 3 is arranged around these edges so as to pass the notched 2a parts and the cloth 2 on the side outer than the rubber circle 3 is bent inward so as to enclose the circumference of the rubber band 3. The bent parts are joined as the fused parts, by which the rubber circle 3 is integrated.
