Title:
FINGER RUBBER FOR BOWLING BALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02279178
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct the diameter of a hole in a bowling ball over a long period and to execute the correction effectively and economically for the score of the bowling by providing a groove, into which a correcting member to correct the diameter of the hole can be inserted, at a part in the hole diameter direction of finger rubber for bowling ball composed of synthetic rubber, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Hole diameters 23 of finger rubber 24 for bowling ball are formed, respectively, as sizes matched to the thickness of the second and third fingers of a bowler in advance. The thickness of the rubber in a part 25 is made thick so that the finger can be more satisfactorily hung to the part 25. A groove 26, into which the correcting member to correct the hole diameter is circumferentially provided between the finger hole and the outer diameter of the rubber and the depth of the groove, is almost set to be a length to which the finger of the bowler is inserted. When the part of the finger rubber 25 is worn by bowling and the finger is started getting warm, paper or plastic, etc., is inserted as the correcting member to one part in the groove 26 so that the hole diameter can be matched with the thickness of the finger. Then the hole diameter 23 of the finger rubber is corrected and thus, the ball of sharp rolling can be bowled.
