PURPOSE: To provide an excellent fire engine whose warning light can be well recognized by other drivers, so that the fire engine may easily be found to be an emergency vehicle and also the function of accident prevention may be achieved.

CONSTITUTION: This fire engine has, on the top surface of the roof of a vehicle 1, a mounting part 3 which can freely rise and fall so that the tip of the mounting part 3 may freely go up and down, and a warning light 4 is attached to the tip of the mounting part 3. The mounting part 3 is formed to be a ladder holder capable of supporting a ladder 5, and has a mechanism which makes it possible to freely pull out and take out the ladder 5 mounted on the mounting part 3 rearwardly and downwardly, when the tip of the mounting part 3 located on the front side of the vehicle is raised to slant downwardly toward the rear.
