To obtain a fire extinguishing device which suppresses breakage of devices or the like provided in a housing box.
The fire extinguishing device 100 includes a rotational shaft 10, a fire-fighting water discharging nozzle 21 provided on the rotational shaft 10, a fire detecting part 30 for detecting a fire, the housing box 1 for housing the nozzle 21 in a normal state, and a right door 3 and a left door 2 for closing an opening part 1a formed in the housing box 1 when the nozzle 21 is housed in the housing box 1. In the fire extinguishing device 100, the fire-fighting water discharging nozzle 21 circles by the rotations of the rotational shaft 10 and is exposed from the opening part 1a when a fire breaks out. The right door 3 is rotatably connected to the housing box 1 and opens toward the outside of the housing box 1 when the nozzle 21 is exposed from the opening part 1a.
