Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device and a fire extinguisher box that allow a quick fire fighting activity to be performed without causing a problem in taking out a fire extinguisher even when the fire hydrant device or the fire extinguisher box are installed so as to be embedded in a watchman passage.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device includes: a body part provided with a hose storage part for storing a wound hose, a nozzle provided to the tip of the hose, and a lever for operating a hydrant valve for controlling the supply of fire-extinguishing water to the hose; and a top plate part for covering the top face of the body part. The top plate part includes an opening provided above the hose storage part and a hose storage part upper lid member for covering the opening so as to open and close it. The hose storage part is configured so that the lever and/or the nozzle can be moved upward, and includes driving force imparting means for imparting the driving force for moving the lever and/or the nozzle upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
